JVS Workshops - New for 2010 - 1 Day Speedlite Workshops + 30 page lighting PDF!

JVS 1 Day Speedlite Workshops
JVS had such a great time teaching at Canon Live Learning last fall that he decided to focus his 2010 Workshops solely on Speedlites.

The Speedlites Workshop is a long, 12 hour day that will be jammed packed full of learning, eating, shooting and more eating:) By the end of the day you’ll be beyond excited about shooting with your Speedlites. You’ll learn to shape your Speedlites with grids, para reflectors, umbrella’s, snoots, gels, softboxes and a beauty dish made specifically for Speedlites.

As a bonus, you’ll receive a 30+ page PDF containing detailed lighting diagrams of everything you’ll shoot along with a gear list that includes every piece of gear you used!

Our next Speedlites Workshop starts on April 6th at our Dallas studio and will be limited to 15 shooters. Ready to up your lighting game? If yes, head over to the Workshops web site and click on “Register.” See ya’ in April!

JVS Moving Portraits: Fashion bridal session with the stunning Jessica Claire!

This amazing shoot all began when Jessica Claire said “Yes!” to this video. A few days later, Anne and I arrived in beautiful Santa Monica and couldn’t wait to start shooting at one of Jessica’s favorite hotels, the Viceroy. We hit the ground running by scouting locations, sketching some shots then headed up to Malibu for some killer pizza at D’Amore’s. Full of pepperoni, ideas and a star citing…Ed Begley Jr…we cruised down the Pacific Coast Highway to the Santa Monica Pier for added inspiration.
