We’ve received a ton of emails about the Speedlites Workshop schedule so here ya’ go!

9:00AM - Arrive at the host studio. We’ll have bagels, donuts and coffee waiting for you.

9:30AM - Introductions by JVS & Anne. Who are we? What is our background? What have we accomplished? What, Anne won a Pulitzer Prize?

9:40AM - Who are you? Brief introductions by each of our Workshop shooters.

9:50-11AM - No projectors, no slide shows, this is a hands-on Workshop that starts now!
-All shooters are welcome regardless of camera make or flash brand
-Know your controls
-Flash sync speed
-Putting it all together, every piece and part that you’ll need to start shooting with off-camera flash.
-List of modifiers that you will learn. Shoot through umbrella, “mystery” modifier, asymmetrical strip bank, soft box, parabolic reflector, beauty dish, ring flash, grids & gels.
-Each modifier will be assembled then demonstrated by JVS.

11AM-1PM - Workshop shooters photograph each other with shoot through umbrella, parabolic reflector, asymmetrical strip bank and one “mystery” modifier.

1-1:45PM - Lunch and beverages will be provided in studio.
-Someone wins a door prize!

1:45-2PM - Q & A from Workshop shooters.

2-3:30PM - Using two Speedlites.
-Each modifier will be assembled then demonstrated by JVS.
-Workshop shooters photograph each other with grids, gels and beauty dishes.

3:30-4:30PM - JVS gets creative with the workshop shooters!

4:30-5PM - Controlling the sun.
-Introduction to high-speed, TTL flash sync with Radio Poppers
-Mounting multiple Speedlites using iDC Photo Video solutions

5PM-6PM - Dinner and beverages will be provided in studio.
-Someone wins a door prize!

6:PM-6:30PM - Learn to light a wedding / event reception or large open space!

6:30-7PM - Shooting with three Speedlites.
-Each lighting setup will be assembled then demonstrated by JVS.
-Working with beauty dishes and grids
-How to add dimension and mood to any night scene with one, two or three Speedlites
-Workshop shooters photograph each other with three modified Speedlites
