My wonderful Ottawa hosts are the talented Union Eleven Photographers!
Brittany Fleming. Brittany believes that photographs should be as interesting as the people within them. Drawing inspiration from street photography and photojournalism genres, she never fails to capture the unexpected moments that later become cherished forever.
Thriving upon the unpredictability of human nature and living in the moment, Brittany loves befriending new clients and getting to know them better during a shoot.
Derrick Rice. Offering an artistic, documentary style of shooting, Derrick believes in letting life unfold in front of the camera and doing whatever is necessary to keep up with the moment.
With his passion for being the best photographer he can be for his clients, Derrick is always trying to improve with each and every wedding he photographs and believes that the best photographers are not always the most talented but the hardest working. When not photographing weddings or commercial assignments Derrick’s like to spend time with his growing family.
Kristin de Castro. Inspired by her subjects and influenced by documentary photography, Kristin is as candid as the images she captures.
She loves the quiet moments, the funny moments, and all the good stuff in between.
With her natural curiosity and attention to detail, Kristin enjoys finding the significance in all the people and places that come together at a wedding.
Andrew Geddes. Andrew is a storyteller at heart. He finished a masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, and promptly switched professions after becoming intrigued by photography and fine-art portraiture.
Always searching for the drama in an image, Andrew has delivered hundreds of thousands of photographs to happy couples. Playful, goofy and friendly (according to his beloved wife), Andrew balances work with family time, sports and finding inspiration in unusual places.

I’ll be teaching my 1 Day Lighting Workshop at Union Eleven Photographers on Tuesday May 14, 2013.
What Will I Learn?
I’ll start with the basics of working with off-camera flash and have you shooting with three Speedlites by the days end. You’ll learn exactly how to maximize your Speedlites through hands-on participation and shooting. In addition to learning how to use 5+ modifiers designed specifically for Speedlites, I’ll even teach you how to light you next event / reception venue. You’ll leave the workshop excited and energized to light up your next shoot!
The first FIVE to register for my Lighting Workshop will receive a copy of my Lighting Guide. My guide (hard copy, spiral bound, $70- value) is the “text book” version of the Lighting Workshop. *Update 3/20/13 – all five Lighting Guides have been claimed.
In addition, everyone that registers for my Lighting Workshop will receive a complimentary one year membership to WeditorialPhotographers.com a new online forum for editorial, wedding and portrait photographers.
