New for 2017 is my Wedding Lighting Workshop! This one-day, hands-on workshop will teach you how to create amazing portraits with Profoto strobes and Cheetah Stand speedlites.

Working out of two Airport TakeOff V3.0 rolling backpacks from ThinkTANKPhoto, I’ll teach you exactly you how to pack and work out of these TSA-friendly backpacks.

What will I learn?
-Learn 5 go-to lighting setups, with 5 different modifiers from Profoto, MagMod, and Rogue.
-How to add mood and drama to any situation.
-How to create amazing bride and groom portraits.
-How to light up family formal portraits.
-How to light up your detail shots.
-How to light up your reception with an assistant.

What does this cost?
Tuition for the one-day workshop is $600- and includes a light breakfast, along with drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Any freebies or door prizes?
-Everyone that attends will receive a free copy of Analogue Soul Quicksilver B&W Lightroom presets from workshop alumnus Joe Payne.
-One lucky student will win a Money Maker camera strap from Matt Swaggart, owner of Hold Fast Gear.
-Every student will receive a $100- off any order $100- or above from Finao.
-More door prizes to come!

Who is JVS?
JVS is short for Joseph Victor Stefanchik and he’s been a full-time commercial and editorial photographer since 1995. Based in Rosemary Beach, Florida, he also photographs weddings with his girlfriend, Candice KausHagen.

As a photojournalist, he’s traveled the world documenting incredible stories and he’s been fortunate to win a number of awards including the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for International Photojournalism (twice) as well as being named a Pulitzer Prize finalist.

Over the years JVS has photographed music legends and big screen faces, the atrocities of civil war and land mines in Angola, traversed down the Panama Canal in a Panamax ship and froze his butt off photographing the Nagano Winter Olympic Games. And believe it or not, he also has a passion for food photography.

His wedding photography has been awarded by WPPI, SWPP, WPJA, AGWPJA, WPJA, and Fearless Photographers. He’s also been a competition judge for WPPI, SWPP, Fearless Photographers, Inspiration Awards, Dutch Masters of Photography, BodaF, and PWPC.

JVS has been teaching photography workshops around the globe concentrating on creative lighting techniques since 2004. Sharing his knowledge with fellow photographers and helping them raise their game is a real thrill!

I’m Ready! How can I become a host?
